Welcome! I'm Gabriella Ring, a student of the Sweetland Minor in Writing program (and more defined above!),  and I've chosen to reflect my experiences with sports and writing about sports into this lovely portfolio. More importantly, my experiences in and around sport have allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of the woman I want to be---oozing with passion, motivated to achieve my goals, and taking each challenge I face head-on.

This portfolio serves as the culmination of my undergraduate writing career where my love of sport has allowed me to explore a question in my Capstone project I've thought about a lot the past few years: why do we care so much about sport? 'Sporty Gabby' gives a little bit more background about me and elaborates on the focus of this project as well as the purpose of the other pages throughout this site.
